What does this product b20 adjustment scerew do for my Polaris cleaner?

This item b20 adjustment screw allows you to either increase or decrease water pressure flow to the hose tail sweep of the cleaner. By tightening it it will lessen the flow and by loosening, it will increase the flow to the tail sweep.
