I have a speck E-90 pump how do I take it apart to change the seal assy (Part#12) in diagram. I was able to remove the 8 screws and changed O-ring but that's where Im stuck on how to get to this part.I have a leak coming from the bottom of the pump and was advised to buy this part.

You will need to remove the impeller by first taking off the diffuser which sits right over it. Then you will need to hold the shaft steady by using a wrench on the back side of the motor holding the rear of it still enabling you to unthread that impeller. The hard part was getting the impeller off. I couldn't the screw in back of the motor so I had to take the rotor out to hold the magnets.

This seal gasket for the inner seal of my Speck E-71 pump worked just fine. This was the first time I ever took apart my pump to change the seals & it went fine. Took about 45 min's from start to finish.
