I have a Magnum Force pump, and I believe this strainer basket is the one I am looking for. However, I am unable to measure the basket as it is currently stuck in the pump. Do you provide a guide with how to remove the basket?

Hi, M D. We do not have a how to guide for removing this basket. There is not much to do when removing the basket, it just slides out of the housing. You may have to wiggle it a little until it's free.

I have a 1MF-S Model #94026110, Dated 10/Jan00
I currently have a 9" basket (missing its flapper valve), but it floats up and rotates when the pump is in use.
The hair trap is about 12 1/2" deep, so I'm wondering if, despite the date, this might be the basket I actually need.

Pros: Exact replacement
The design of the pump has been changed twice. Leaving three choices for the basket. The item is listed with all three choices including dates and dimensions, making ordering very simple.
