Hi - I have a 6 year old Jandy CL460 filter that has recently sprung a leak on the bottom portion of the tank. My local pool dealer (who installed the pool 6 years ago) is telling me that the filter needs to be replaced ($1,400). This seems odd to me given it looks like the bottom of the tank can be replaced for $359.99.

I am experiencing the same thing. there are small holes at the bottom of the tank that are leaking. Can someone tell me what has caused that? The tank is about 7 years old.

I spoke to Jandy Technical ( 800-822-7933 ) and there thoughts were either there was increased water pressure or the water chemistry was an issue.

Is this the correct filter bottom to fit the Jandy CL 460 CP?
Is the distance between the inlet and out let 8" ?

Hi Ron, This Tank Bottom (R0358600) has been replaced with the Filter Bottom (R0466500) which does have an centerline of 8" between the inlet and outlet.

We have the Jandy CL340 and the bottom housing needs replacing. Will this part fit what we have? The unit is about 7 years old.
