Hi David, unfortunately, this lid is not compatible with the Pentair SM/SMBW 4000 Series Molded D.E. filter. There are a few lids still available for it however you will need to know the specific filter model. You can view the available lids on this parts diagram.

I currently have a CL460, I would like to replace it with a CL560. Is it possible to just buy the CL560 top and put that on my existing CL460 base?

Hello Mike. The Zodiac CL580 Tank Lid R0357300 is compatible with the Zodiac CL460 Tank Base. The conversion would necessitate the installation of a new Outlet Tube with Elbow and O-Rings R0358100. Outlet Tube W/elbow & O-rings (r0358100) Attached please find an exploded parts diagram for the Jandy CL Series Filters. Please review for all parts specific to the model CL580.
