I've noticed that this part 9-100-902 or 9-100-906 is releasing more water from it then when the cleaner was new and the cleaner doesnt seem to be moving as much. Could this part be this problem?

This part 9-100-9002 or 9-100-906 could be the cause of the issue that you are having. By replacing this, it can increase the pressure to the cleaner potentially giving it the added power to run it more efficiently.

Hi Denise, This Pressure Relief Valve will fit the UWF Connector Assembly which is used with the Polaris 280 Cleaner.

Discovered pressure relieve assembly where the Polaris tubing connected had cracked thereby diverting most of the pump pressure directly out into the pool and no longer pumped through the tubing to the Polaris cleaner.
Simply unscrewed the broken valve from the side of the pool and replaced with new part. Worked perfectly.
