Is the end without the coupling, a slip joint? Do not want a female threaded piece.

my valve is leaking a small (drop, drop) up around the top of the screw portion. Is there an O-ring or gasket that can be replaced instead of cutting out the entire valve and replacing?

Hi Chuck, There are o-rings located with this valve. You can purchase the Stem & End Connector O-ring Kit (SPX0722GH), it includes all of the o-rings for this valve.
