Can I attach this sensor to my Aqualink RS system for the water temp?

Hi Liz, This sensor is not compatible with the Aqualink RS System, you will need the 2 Wire (5089) or 4 Wire (4019) Jandy Temperature Sensor.

How can I test my sensor to know if it is working or not? I have tested the wire for continuity. I have touched the sensor leads to the controller terminals and the red light stays on. I need to know how to determine if the problem is the sensor or the controller. What should I read at the controller terminals? I have a GL-235.

Hi, Ron. You can refer to the “CHECK SENSOR” indicator on section located on page 9 of the GL-235 Solar Pool Controller Owner's Manual for testing info.

I have a Hayward/Goldline control model AQL-P-4 and my water sensor error says open circuit. I checked the connections in the control box and along the wire to the sensor mounted in the PVC. Is this thermister the part that I would need to replace or is there another part for my model? Looking at the picture, it seems to be what I need. Thanks for a quick reply.
