The picture shows that the heat exchanger is a complete assembly including front header, flow control thermostat, brass/ss plugs. Also I understand that this kit includes a tape to seal up the exchanger. Can you please tell me if the picture is exactly what is in this package and if it includes the tape

Hi. This heat exchanger will not fit the H400FDP heater, you will need Part # FDXLHXA1400.

my hayward heater h400idl sprung a leak at the place where the header attaches to the heat exchanger, there are a bunch of screws holding the header in place, two of them on the bottom rusted so badly that they broke off and of course caused leaking drips ... I have taken off the header and need to somehow replace two of the screw studs that rusted out with new bolts, I don;t see how to get to them to pop whatsleft of the screws out and put new ones in, any help/suggestions
