Is this part required to run my pool filter? I am asking because it is broken and I noticed it says deliver takes 2 to 3 weeks

Hi, Michele. This part is not needed to operate the chlorine generator, it can run without it. However, your chlorine could be a little lower than running i with the Shroud which acts as a uv protector.
