No, the manufacturer advised us that the CL01 cannot be used in a hot tub. We do not currently offer a salt system for a hot tub.

It seems that my chlorinator turns off or does not remain with the green light on during the time it is running, is there any thing you might suggest?

Hi Greg, If there is "No Lights" on  Chlorease Saltwater Chlorinator (CL01) that's an indicator that the salt level is high and the system will shut off. I would recommend getting the water tested to find out what's the salt level in the pool and go from there. You can find information in the Chlorease Instruction Manual.

Bonnie, Unplug the unit and verify that you have power at the socket. Use a voltmeter to determine that you have 115vac output from the socket. If a voltmeter is not available, use a lamp or other appliance to verify that there is enough voltage being supplied to the socket. If there is no supply voltage, either repair the socket or plug the ChlorEase in elsewhere. If the socket is active, call 1-561-805-7778 for service.
