I have replaced the gear kit on a Pentair Kreepy Krauly Sandshark because it was moving very little. That did not do much good. It moves around the pool but very slowly and with little power; it gets stuck in corners and the like. Would replacing the Oscillator Kit provide more power? The oscillations seem very weak compared to in the past (I judge by feeling the vibrations on the hose; they seem rather faint.)
Also, is the short lead-in (?) hose necessary? I juhave a 1-meter attached.

Hi Don, If the unit is getting little power then the issue is with your system. I would check your filtration system, make sure that your filter is properly cleaned. That how the cleaner get it's power.

The cleaner moves very slow, does not climb the walls and the oscillation is rather weak. The pump and the filter working perfectly fine. Does replacing the oscillator kits would help ?. In other words what are the signs of oscillator kit malfunction ?

Hi Sid, If you've confirmed that your equipment is not the cause of the cleaner moving slowly. Then replacing the Oscillator Kit will be the next step in trying to resolve the issue with this cleaner.
