You can see cell replacement instructions in the Monarch Cell Manual. We also have an Aquarite Cell Replacement Guide which offer step by step details in photos and video. The Aquarite is not the same exact configuration as the Monarch but the guide will give you a general overview of the process.

The salt cell seems to working fine right now, only time will tell. When I first installed it, it leaked like crazy. I thought the base was cracked but upon closer inspection, it appeared that one of the prongs was not screwed in entirely. After some considerable adjustment, the leak has stopped and it appears to be working ok.
