The Premier Floating Digital Thermometer has a large, easy-to-read LCD display screen(1/10 degree). The readout is selectable in both Celsius and Fahrenheit with a measuring range of 32°F to 158° F (0°C to 70°C) making the thermometer ideal for both pools and spas. A polyethylene cord and long-life battery are included.

Yes, the floating thermometer is indeed waterproof.

Does the temperature show all the time? Or do you have to bend down and push a button for the temperature to show?

This thermometer can left on, but keep in mind it is powered by batteries which will die eventually.
