To clean cartridges or D.E. grids, the Filter Perfect (1 liter) should be added to at least 5-10 gallons of water and left to soak over night. For a sand filter you would pour the Filter Perfect (1 liter) through the skimmer.

Pros: Easy to use, no harsh chemicals
Cons: Difficult to find a container large enough to hold the filter.
Filter Perfect was extremely easy to use and worked well.

I love this stuff! I found that I could put it in a spray bottle and spray the filter, wait a few minutes and then hose it off and it works to loosen all the slime off the filter. I know it says to submerge the filter, but I was pressed for time...can't wait to see what it does when I use as directed!
