Bromine Start is not a disinfectant. It is used to establish a reserve of bromine in fresh spa or hot tub water. It establishes the "bromine bank" needed for your bromine tabs to work effectively.

What does this bromine starter do?

Before adding Bromine Tabs in your spa or hot tub, you will need to add 1/2 oz. of bromine starter for every 100 gallons of water. The same treatment should be followed each time you drain and refill your spa or hot tub with fresh water.
