I would like to use the CMP 2 way valve on the suction side of the pump. I will be using them to modulate the flow between the skimmers and drain. Will i install the valve with the standard orientation, pool side to pool, or can the valve be turned to cover either port. I would think covering the port to the pump would put less strain on the valve. Direction of water flow would help seal the valve.

Hi, Roger. Based on your explanation, you will need the Gray PVC - 3 Way valve - 25933-204-000 versus a 2 way valve. The diverter position can be changed.
