At what flow rate (GPM) would this valve begin to open?

The valve will open when at least 2 lbs of force are pushed against it. We currently do not have any reference for how many GPM that would be.

What size pipe fits this valve? Are both ends slip connections?

You can use both 2.5 inch internal slip and 3 inch external slip pvc on these valves.

This says the OD is 3". Does that mean it is the same OD as a 3" schedule 40 PVC pipe? Will it glue up to a 3" pipe using a 3" coupling?

Hi, Christiaan. This Check Valve can be used with 2-1/2" or 3" pvc pipes.
