These valves are chemically resistant to the typical swimming pool and spas chemicals that are kept within average ranges for those bodies of water.

Do you have this check valve with a 1/2lb spring? I only see CMP check valves listed with 2lb springs. Thanks

Valve housing broke during Freeze

Written on 3/24/2021 by Guest

Bought this replacement valve from InYo to replace mine that had cracked during the freeze. If you can cut and glue PVC you can do this. Just plan your cuts so you leave your self enough pipe. I had to spread the existing pipes open a little to allow the valve housing to fit in and the overlap the pipe enough to seal. Plan it out, Do a test fit Without glue to be sure it will work. I removed the valve guts to avoid getting glue on them and it also allowed me to see how much pipe was inside the valve body.
