Some retailers have sold this unit with 3" tubes. What is the advantage of the 4" tubes?

Hello, if you are looking for the three-inch tube that would be part number 55-2003MS. The four-inch tube is recommended for pools with a surface area greater than 600sqft when used with a thicker solar blanket.

Looking to purchase a reel alongside a 20' 16 mil solar cover. Is this reel long enough for a 20' cover? Unsure if the 20' in the description is the length of the unit, or the maximum width of the cover.

Hi Kyle, This solar reel works on pools up to 20' in width so you will be fine with this cover.
