does this have two 2 openings underneath that scree on to pipes? Does this come with a clear cover at one end?

Hi Viola, The UV Housing Jacket - Blue only have 1 opening underneath and is not clear but blue. You're describing the Electrode Housing Body Clear - For Compupool Cell.

What is the usefulness of this uv cover? Can we not put it if the unit is installed inside the building that houses this chlorinator?

Daniel, This is to protect the cell from the UV rays of the sun saving chlorine production. If the unit is installed indoors then it's not necessary.

Hi, Jean. This UV Housing Jacket is compatible with your model system. However, will not cause the cell to leak. You may have another issue with the Cell Housing.
