The alkalinity ideal levels will vary between 80-120ppm please see; Total Alkalinity For Your Swimming Pool http://www.inyopools.com/pool-101-total-alkalinity.aspx 80-100 is most preferred, however, it is best to consult with the builder of the pool to request the specific chemistry ranges for your surface type.

First product ordered from INYO and pleased with service. Great communication and fast shipping. Not a whole lot to say about this product - chemicals are chemicals to me right now as a new-ish pool owner. Seems at least as good quality as the other brands I have bought in the past though.
