Azure Calcium Hardness Increaser is used to raise calcium hardness in swimming pool water. Low calcium hardness may cause pool water to become corrosive which can result in etched plaster, corrosion of equipment and fixtures or may cause metallic stains. The Ideal range is 200 to 400 parts per million (ppm). The minimum calcium hardness level is 150 ppm.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Sodium Bicarbonate
DIRECTIONS:
1. Determine calcium hardness level. It should be between 150-250 ppm.
2. If the level is below 150 ppm, add Calcium Hardness Increaser by distributing the product over the water surface. 1 lb. of product will increase the calcium hardness 10 ppm in 10,000 gallons of water.*Caution: Do not add more than 10 lbs. per 10,000 gallons of water at one time. If the pool needs more than this, add the 10 lbs./10,000 gallons amount then retest 12 hours later. After testing, you can make the necessary adjustments.

Never added calcium hardness increase but this product has successfully balanced my water more so than in any other season. Will need an additional 5-10 lbs to get my hardness into normal range. Shipped fast. Recommend.

price is great for lower .lbs needed,for larger amounts other sites compete...product seems to be less potent than label advises but for the cost still a good purchase

super good price compared to leslies, either my pool is bigger than my calculations or this product is not as potent as label says but for the price i can order more and still be half the cost of other stores!

THIS IS AN ECONOMICAL WAY TO TAKE MOISTURE OUT OF YOUR CLOSETS. IT WORKS GREAT IN CHICAGO'S WINTERS TO ALLEVIATE ANY MOLD ISSUES DUE TO THE COLD AND MOISTURE!
