Yes, do you have any candelabra bulbs for a pentair pool light?

At this time there are no LED's that will fit in a Candelabra based unit.

WHAT IS THE EQUIVALENCE OF A 35 WATT LED POOL BULB IN INCANDESCENT POOL BULB? IS THERE A TABLE OR CHART FOR CONVERTING WATTAGES BETWEEN INCANDESCENT AND LED POOL BULBS.

Hi Juan, A standard incandescent light is rated at 3,000 lumens on the white light setting. The 35 Watt LED is rated at 2,600 Lumens on the white light setting which is pretty close in brightness to incandescent.

How easy it to change the bulb? Removal of the lens? The old design of pool lights with all the screws was awful

Does the 12V bulb require a transformer 120v to 12v for this bulb to work? Thank you.

Hello Paul, no this bulb must be used in a compatible light fixture that can use this bulb and the fixture must have the same voltage rating as the bulb.

Old Style Light was no longer working
Written on 12/23/2025 by Guest

First I shut off the circuit breaker for the pool light. The hardest part was figuring out which LED light bulb would work in my existing lamp holder. To get the lamp holder part number, I loosened the one screw on the wall light and pull it out of the pool with the electric cable still attached. I took some pictures of the numbers on the unit and then googled them. Then I ordered the LED light bulb and gasket. Meanwhile I reinstalled the lamp holder until the part came in. When the part arrived I loosened the one screw and pulled the lamp unit out of the pool and laid it on the deck. There is a compression band that I unscrewed to open the unit. After removing the old light and installing the new LED lamp I put food grade silicon grease on the new gasket and tightened the band. I had to reposition the lamp unit when reinstalling in wall to get right position for screw to hold it. Everything worked out fine. My pool light is in the low end so I could get to it from the deck with my arms in the pool.
