Yes this pump and filter system would be good for an 18' round above ground pool. This does include all the hoses and attachments. This filter requires 100 lbs. of sand.

Does this system work on above ground aluminum pools or just soft side pools?

Tamara, The BC2228 above ground system is designed for s"solid wall" above ground pools. It is not recommended for soft-sided pools.

Can you use and Intex pump and filter system on an 18" above ground pool that is not Intex ?

Hi Tamara, yes you can we would suggest the 18" Sand Filter with 3/4 HP Pump here as it comes with adapters for an Intex Pool.

Teresa, For your 27' Above Ground pool I would recommend the Hayward S180T Filter w/ 1.5 HP Matrix Pump or the Sandman 22" Sand Filter System With 1.5 Hp Pump.

Jason - Yes this filter/pump set would be a good match for your pool. This does include all the hoses and attachments between the pump and filter. Hoses to the pool are generally provided with the pool.

The "brand" of pump is from a company called Bridging China. We do not carry parts for it.
