If you're just needing the temperature probe then that would be the correct replacement part, 6105D.

Hello, I have an Aquacal Heat pump model 115ahdsbtb with a code of "OTA". This code came up shortly after turning on the spa. It has disabled the heat pump. There are no other indications of any problem and the water did not even heat up. I suspect it is a faulty temperature sensor. If this is the case, which temp sensor would I replace? Is it the one in the housing of the heat pump on the 2" inlet PVC pipe? Can I test this first by cutting one of the wires or tying the 2 wires together?

Yes, that would be the correct replacement part for the temperature sensor, but I do not have the error codes for that. I recommend you give AquaCal a call at 727-823-5642 so they can tell you what that error code means.

My Aquacal pool heater works but the actual water temp is incorrect, read 99 when the water temp is more like 75. I can get it to turn io by setting it to "spa" and uping the set temp to above the 99 degrees. Is this a sensor problem, control problem of something else?

Hi, Brad. It sounds like you have a temperature sensor issue.

I have a leak around the temp sensor, and the temp sensor is lose. Is there a boot or some sealant that is supplost to be in the sensor hole?

Good Morning Mr. Webb, Hope you are doing well. This sounds more like a leak in the sensor well than a problem with the sensor itself. I will need your model number to see if you need the 1113KIT copper well kit or the STK1113A plastic well kit. Thanks, Robert Brown AquaCal Tech Support

I have an aquacomfort pool heat pump (manufactured by G&S Mfg or Gulfstream out of Florida). Control panel shows "Evap Sensor Malfunction". After reading the service manual online it says it's the defrost sensor. I opened up the unit, connections are all fine, so looks like I need to replace. Repair manual says it's a 10K sensor. Another company wants to charge me $124 for OEM part, looks to me like the one you are selling would work fine. Can you offer any guidance?

Good Morning Victor, Hope you are doing well. This kit number STK0021 is a 10 k sensor that should work for this situation. The only thing I cannot verify is how the sensor will mount to their control board. You may need to do some modification to the sensor. INYO can assist you with pricing & ordering. I have a rather old AquaCal AEROTEMP - AT8500 (?? Label is worn - ~18 years old) - This year, water temp reading of 120 so compressor does not actuate. Also, there is a leak @ the Temp sensor - Also, the threaded ring on the inside of the manifold cracked this past winter not sure how to fix this w/o replacing.. the inside diameter of the opening is just under 2" but replacing the manifold = hard. Ideas? suggestions? see the attached pics The unit has been flawless until this season.

Good Morning Mr. Harrison, Hope you are doing well. The 2 parts I would suggest in this case are the STK0021 temp sensor kit pictured above & a new manifold D160278S. It is more difficult to replace, but is much better than trying to piecemeal this together. Please see attached image of manifold. Thanks, Robert Brown AquaCal Tech Support. If you are interested in the manifold kit then reply back to this post and Inyo can get you a price.

Will this work for model SQ125AHDSBPB? My pool temp is 80 & I have moved the heater temp to 101 & it’s not running. I increased to 104 to get it to run. This is what I should replace?

A  Answered on 3/18/2020 by Aqua Cal

Good Morning Phillip, Hope you are doing well. If the heater is reading your water temp on the display as 80 and the actual pool temp is 80, then I do not think you have an issue with the sensor. It is possible that you have an issue with internal programming on the heater or some other internal issue that is keeping the unit from running. I would suggest contacting AquaCal at 727-823-5642 to troubleshoot further. Thanks Robert Brown AquaCal Tech Support

I have an AT12000 serial # 401149-C01. Just opened for the season in New England and think I have a water temp sensor issue. The WT display was bouncing radically from 84 - 86 initially then up to 95 - 96. I know the water temp is much lower around 55 - 60. The fan came on initially, then off...then on a the comp kicked on for a while when I set the heat temp to max 95 degrees, then off. Now water temp reads 95 and the fan won't come on as it thinks the the max temp is achieved. Help!

Good Morning Rich, Hope you are doing well. This is most likely an issue with the water temp sensor and can be fixed with the STK0021 temps sensor kit listed on this page. Thanks Robert Brown AquaCal Tech support

Thanks, are there instructions on installing the sensor with the kit? Is this a delicate operation so as not to crack the housing? Is removing the top the best way to get at this area?
