What’s the difference between a winter cover and a safety cover?

Safety covers are used in conjunction with anchors to lock them into place over your pool to prevent people and animals from falling into the pool. Winter covers are kept in place with water tubes and do not lock into place. They DO NOT prevent accidents. Both products will keep leaves and debris out of the pool during the winter season.

Can you mail me samples of the 8,15 and 20 year in ground winter covers?

Unfortunately the manufacturer does not supply samples of those particular winter covers. We can only supply samples of the safety covers.

The actual size of my pool is 17 x 36.
It has side left steps 4 x 8, thus making the size of a rectangular cover as 21 x 36.
Is it so that the overlap will be advised by you and the actual cover size will be automatically increased, say by 5 ft making it 26 x 41 ?
Which cover would you advise to buy with 10-12 year warranty?

Where are grommets placed?

Hi Jack, this cover has loops coming off the side of the cover and water tubes go through those loops. There is a grommet on each of the corners of the cover and those metal grommets can be used to tie the cover down with rope.
