How do I use it and is it self adhesive?

The back side of the patch has adhesive. You pull the protective piece from the adhesive side and apply the patch to the cover.

My tear is adjacent to a seam. Is this product sufficient enough to repair this area?
 Reply

You should not have an issue with the product being applied to an area that is adjacent to the seam. I have provided few other tips that you may find helpful. *Clean the area that is being repaired with a damp cloth. (let dry)Cut the patch to size IF NECESSARY. Make sure patch is still big enough.Use adhesive to fully seal the edges.

Is the patch a mesh material or solid? Is it flexible as in when the cover is rolled up next year, will the patch stay on?
 Reply

Hi, Dave. It does not specify if this patch is a solid or mesh. It does state that is can be used to repair both cover types. It is flexible to where it will not come off with the cover rolled up once applied properly.
