Is the salt included with the salt chlorine generator?
Reply
No, salt is not included. You would purchase the salt locally and the quantity will depend upon the number of gallons of water in your pool. Use a salt that is at least 99.8% pure NaCl. The preferred salt is evaporated, granulated, food quality, and NON-iodized. Avoid using salt with anti-caking agents like sodium ferrocyanide, also known as yellow YPS (prussiate of soda). These cause some discoloration of fittings and pool surface finishes. DO NOT use calcium chloride.

I have a Hayward AQL2-TB-RF-PS-4 table top remote and the yellow light continues to stay on. Check system water sensor open is on the display. What can I do to fix this?

Hi, Is the display stating that the circuit is open? If so, check the wiring to the sensor and also make sure that the wires are secure in the terminal block in the Aqua Logic main unit. If the wiring is fine then the sensor may need to be replaced.

Hi Luis. I don't see anything in the manual referring to that issue. You may want to contact the manufacturer at this link for more information. Best of luck.

What parts are included with this model? is the T-Cell-15 turbo cell included?
Thanks.

Hi Matias, The P4 System is no longer available as a package. You will have to purchase the Pro Logic Base System Controller (PL-P-4) and the Turbo Cell (T-Cell-15).

We are trying to get out of service mode with our Goldline Controls remote. The system is locked and we don't know how to unlock it. What can we do?

Hi, You can find the instructions in the Aqualogic P4 Operation Manual to "UNLOCK" and exit "SERVICE MODE." You will have to complete both tasks via the controller not by remote.

I have a AQL-P-4. The pool temp readout is 4 degrees higher than 2 thermometers floating in the pool. The sensor has been replaced with the same result. Can the board be calibrated for this? Is the board defective? Is this typical for this device?

Hi, Gary. The circuit board can not be recalibrated for the temperature.

Hi. This means there has been a disruption in the transfer of information from the main PCB to the display(s). Deactivate all the breakers in the bottom of the control box and wait 5-10 seconds, then re-supply power to the control and check the display. If the problem has gone away the issue should have been cleared. If the problem persists, contact Technical Service for assistance 908-355-7995 (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm).
