What does time clock override mean?

Water is only sent through a heat pump when your pool pump is turned on. The time clock override feature will turn your pool pump on if the water temp. in your pool drops below the temperature you have set on the heat pump (Thus overriding the pump timer)

Our pool equipment is behind a North facing wall,. It is shady there all day. Is it ok to put the heat pump in shade?

Hi, The unit can be placed in the shady area as long as the area is compliant with the clearance, roof run-off and meets the other criteria listed is Heat Pro Owner's Manual.

I have an "Air Energy Heat Pump" (Pompano Beach, FL) that I want to replace. Model 500 Standard......(.230v/1/60)...........118,000 BTU hr. (I purchased this unit in 1996........the company may be out of business now.) My Pool is 29,000 gallons...........is there a Hayward heat pump available that will do the job? Thank you.

Hi Richard, Thanks for the question. Hayward makes some great heat pumps and I would suggest the Hayward HP21254T 125,000 BTU Heat Pump as a great replacement to your old Air Energy Heat Pump.

I have a Hayward Pro Heat pump, Model 21104T, The temperature is only going up to 72 degrees. it was working fine , then temperature won"t go any higher. Could it be a capasitor ? I noticed (the small one ) was leaking some brown liquid. I called several pool companies and they said they don"t work on this system .. Any advice is appreciated
