Hi Juan, No the AquaRay would not be a good choice for an inground pool. For your style of pool we would suggest the Hayward Blu Inground Pool Cleaner.

I can't get the sweeper to move I've tried everything. The regulator- flow will not open

Hi JoAnn, If the Regulator Flow-DCX180 will not open allowing water to flow through then you will need to replace it, or the Hammer & Cup Assy-DCX120 may be worn allowing the cleaner not to function properly.

Would this be a good sweeper for an Intex above ground pool?

Hi Christy, This cleaner can not be used with Intex pools. We recommend that you use a battery powered cleaner like the Pool Blaster Max.

Why won't the head stay flat on bottom of pool It lifts up& doesn't clean

I would start with the flow rate and changing the hose lengths around so that your cleaner isn't continually doing to same thing.

my aqua ray is about 3 years old. the seal near where the hose connects to the aqua ray is not working and air is released so the machine will not work. I was not able to use this year and discovered why just a few weeks ago. is there a part that I can order to correct this problem?

Are you referring to the regulator flow valve? If so, the part number for that is 3251-011. Let me know if you need further help.

Brand new unit. will not move. Have tried everything. Water flows, but sweeper either does not move or seems to be suction to the bottom.

Hi, Jim. I would recommend going over the installation step one more time to make sure that the unit is assembled correctly, then follow the troubleshooting steps on page 12 of the Hayward DV1000 Manual.
