I have a Hayward pool pump model SP2807X10. Is this the right tune-up kit?

Yes, the SP2807X10 is the Hayward MaxFlo pump. This is the correct tune-up kit.

I currently have a Hayward Max Flo Pump (self-priming), model SP 1607-2-1MXBK that has suddenly quit moving water. The motor runs but the water does not move. Is it possible that the impeller could have imploded or worn out?

Bill I would check if your impeller is clogged if it is not clogged then I would check if there are any visible signs of damage on the impeller, if so then the impeller would need to be replaced.

Hi Jason, The A.O. Smith 1 HP Round Flange Up Rate Motor (USQ1102) and the Hayward MaxFlo Tune Up Kit (GOKIT1) would be the replacement motor and kit for this model pump.

Hi, I have a burned out Hayward SPSP2805X7 Pumo and want to replace it with a slightly larger pump for better flow. What are the dimensional differences between my old pump and a Hayward SP2807x10 pump?

Hi Mike, The SP2807X10 model is 3/8" longer than the SP2805X7 because of the motor, other than that everything else is the same. Please make sure that you filter can handle the additional water flow prior to purchasing.

Are there any 2 speed or variable speed motors available for a Hayward SP2807X10?

Hello Robert, You can replace your 1hp Motor with a 1 HP Full Rate Two Speed Motor W/ Timer or a 1.65 HP Variable Speed Pool Pump Motor Round Flange. When changing out your motor, we strongly recommend you replace your seals as well. We have the Tune Up Kit Hayward MaxFlo with all the seals you need.

What's the difference between the SP2307x10 vs the SP2807x10?

Hi, Vincent. The body styles and performance of the pumps are the difference between the Super Pump and the Max-Flo pump. The Max-Flo pump performance is slightly higher than the Super Pump.

Is there an energy-efficient model for this pump?

The only unit in the MAx-FLo that is energy-efficient would be Hayward Max-Flo VS Variable Speed Pump - SP2302VSP.

Hi Ed, you may need to adjust the plumbing but the Waterway Champs SMF-110 model pool pump is a good replacement for the Hayward Max Flo model SP2807X10 pool pump.
