Please explain the difference between the standard dolphin replacement filter bags, disposable filter bags, how often to replace, can you just pull out and wash? Also I noticed you sell replacement scrubber brushes, how do these need to be replaced? Is this machine hard on a vinyl liner?

The standard dolphin replacement filter bags are designed to handle finer debris like sand and silt and these bags typically lasts 3 years. The standard bags can be washed in a washing machine using no detergent. The disposable filter bags are designed to handle larger debris like leaves and twigs and are recommended when opening the pool in the spring or closing the pool in the fall. The disposable bags last 2-3 cleanings and may be purchased through this link http://www.inyopools.com/Products/00100001004983.htm The Dolphin robot pool cleaners are designed to work on vinyl liner, gunite or fiberglass pools and the scrubber brushes typically last 3-5 years. The manufacture recommends cleaning the scrubber brush periodically with a mild dish detergent to prolong the life of the brush.

What is the difference between the 3001 & the Dolphin ProX cleaner?

The main differences are that the 3001 has one cycle time of 6 hrs. where the ProX has three different cycle times 4, 6 or 8 hours. The ProX has a remote control so you can spot clean the bottom of the pool using the remote control. Both cleaners have a 24 month warranty, 100' swivel cable, same bag, same suction rate and both will clean pools up to 85' long. You may view or purchase either cleaner here Dolphin Pool Cleaners

I need a part for my Dolphin pool cleaner but I don't see it on the parts breakdown. Is there still a chance you may still have it?

The manufacturer which is Maytronics, does not offer all parts for sale. If you don't see a part on the breakdown you can give us a call. For parts that they do not consider "DIY (do it yourself), you will need to contact them and send in the cleaner for repair.

Can the Dolphin 3001 be left inside of the pool all the time? Would there be damage to components?

Hello Moh - It is not recommended that the Dolphin 3001 be left in the pool all of the time. Parts will break down and need to be replaced sooner.

Hi Pat, Maytronics the manufacture of this cleaner has been constantly changing the manufacture warranty on this cleaner and we just spoke with Maytronics and the new warranty is now 12 months. We are sorry for any confusion on the warranty.
