How can you tell if you have a 2 psd or single sped motor?

The motor label RPM rating will state 3,450 for single speed or 3,450/1,725 for dual speed.

Can you be a little more specific with your question? Are you referring to electrically coming on and off, or disconnecting from the shaft and reconnecting? Please elaborate.

This part isn't specific to the horsepower of the pump, instead, it is based on the model that you have.

Hi, Robert. As the motor rotates the rotating switch and stationary switch will engage making contact with each other.
