My Polaris cleaner doesn't seem to have the water pressure that it used to and I've noticed that this back up valve kit g52 is letting out water a lot. Is this my issue?

This could very well be the issue. Once the mechanics inside the valve kit g52 have gone bad or the valve casing is damaged more water pressure will be released there hindering the cleaner's performance.

How far back on the leader hose is the back-up valve installed?

We would recommend placing the back-up valve 18" back from the cleaner on the leader hose.

The jet on the side of the valve kit needs to be facing the cleaner.

Hi, John K. There is no special service or lube needed for the back-up valve to make it last longer. I would recommend occasionally checking the gears to make sure it's free of debris.

Hi, Dennis. The Complete Back-Up Valve is Part # G62 and the Case Kit is Part # G64 for the Polaris 3900 cleaner.

We are a licensed pool retailer and pool and spa installer. Our question is we have a customer that purchased a G52 separately from the Polaris 280 package. How long is the warranty on this G52 back up valve. Or does this part even come with a extended warranty?

Hi, Charlton. This part is warranted for 90 days from the date of purchase. No extended warranty is available.
