Hi Jenny, The motor you referenced SP1510-Z-1 XESC is commonly used on the Hayward Matrix pump. I would double check that you see Matrix listed on the side of your pump and if you do see this listed then this is the correct lid assembly for your pump.

We can't get the Hayward Strainer Cover off the motor. We've tried and tried but it won't budge! Any suggestions?

I would open the air release on your filter to release any air pressure. You can also tap on the handles of the lid with a hammer or rubber mallet to help in the opening.

Hi Lori, If your pump says Matrix on it then this is the proper lid. I'm showing the SP1515 was used on the Power Flo LX or Power Flo pumps so if your pump says Power Flo LX or Power Flo then you will require this Hayward Power Flo Lid
