Hello, The switch is pressed into the opening using the tabs on the ends of the switch. To remove the old switch, you will need to squeeze the tabs. We recommend taking a photo of how the switch is wired before disconnecting the wires.

Hello,
I have the Hayward SP1593FTTL pump with the timer module. When I start the pump, it trips the breaker. It's not seized. The motor is able to spin freely. Last summer the timer module stopped working. The pump was able to work without the timer feature.
I suspect that the circuit board went totally bad. I see that the timer module is no longer offered as a replacement part. How do I convert it to use a standard on/off switch?

My PowerFlo Matrix pool pump switch frayed ans apparently burnt out My switch specifics are Carling Technologies 15A 20A 250 over125 Vac and also a # 1410R You have a replacement switch product# 5271-08 manufacturingcode# SPX1500S8 which has all my spec except it has115R on it and mine has 1410R on it Can your part # 5271-8 be used on my pump? or do you have a switch with my exact same specifications?

I have the sp1515-z-1esc and the on/off switch needs to be replaced. I shut the pump off using a receptacle controlled by a switch. My question is can the motor be re wired to eliminate the on/off switch since its not really used

The part number SP1520Z1ESC identifies the motor only. This motor is commonly installed on the Hayward PowerFlo Matrix Pump. The pump label would be located on the pump housing as viewed on the attached Pump Housing Matrix - SPX5500C
