Will this fit my clearwater 2 150 sq. ft. cartridge filter? The waterway plastics site breakdown shows it to be part 718-7251, but you show it as 550-2060. Thanks

The 550-2060 is the correct filter nut for the Clearwater II 150 Cartridge Filter.

Hi Bob, For this particular Waterway Clearwater II Filter the lock tabs are not sold separately.

Hi. The CW225-423 is a Waterway Clearwater number which uses this Filter Nut With Lock Tabs - 550-2060.

I was just communicating online with someone about a replacement part for a Proline Cartridge filter part #718-7230, but unfortunately I lost the conversation. It looks like Waterway part# 511-7221, which says it is no longer available. My question is will this filter nut with lock tabs fit? I can email you pictures of my filter

Hi, Judith. To remove this Filter Nut w/ Lock Tabs - 550-2060, press the yellow safety latch on the underside of the locking nut and turn the nut counterclockwise.

i'm not sure which filter I have but I have the serial number CW2-36983.can u tell me my filter type from the serial number? it looks like my filter nut is 18inches in diameter with the yellow lock tabs. can I use the replacement tabs for my 18inch nut.

Only the manufacturer can identify specific units by their serial numbers. If you know the maker of your filter, contact them with the serial number to ID it.
