I have 2G lights in my pool and want to put a 3G light in my spa. Will the 2G and 3G versions synchronize with one another?
 Reply

According to the manufacturer, the 2G and 3G versions will not synchronize with one another.  To have the lights on the same color rotation, you would need to have the same version in both your pool and spa.

What is the difference between the G3 and the G2 LED Light?
 Reply

A  Answered on 7/5/2010 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The G3 uses newer technology which gives you brighter light output than the G2, also the older technology on the G2 let's you see individual rays of light where the new technology on the G3 has a much smoother light output. You may view or purchase either light here  >http://www.inyopools.com/lights_jjelectronics.aspx

For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?
 Reply

A  Answered on 1/20/2012 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off.  This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

NOT my question! I know they can be 120v or 12v! My question is: What is the WATTAGE of the 12v G2 and, Second, what is the WATTAGE of the 12v G3? I'm trying to compare the WATTAGE of the G2 at 12v and G3 at 12v. What is the difference in light output (Lumens) of the G2 and G3 both at 12v?

Is this comparable to replace a Galaxy led lamp igp231
 Reply

A  Answered on 11/5/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, The Color Splash LED 2G Pool Lamp, 12V (LPL2030122) is not comparable to the IGP231 bulb, the voltage are different. If you can provide the manufacture, model and voltage of the light fixture you currently have I can find out if there is a Color Splash bulb that would work with your fixture.

Hi Dave, These bulbs are designed for use in selected underwater light fixtures. We don't have led bulbs for landscaping lights.
