One measurement on your description says 1.25". Looking at the picture the hole is 5/8" so what is the 1.25"? This looks like my seal but nothing on my 5/8" seal measures 1.75". Looking at the proportions on the picture nothing looks 1.75"

The 1.25" measurement refers to the outside diameter of the shaft seal.

Hi Mickey, You would require the shaft seal on this page for the Optiflo pump. For the o-rings you would need a quantity of two of the 357 O-ring and a quantity of one of the 223 O-ring.

The seal kits are not based off of the motor model but the model of the front pump housing that the motor mounts to.

Hi Robert- Unfortunately with the Dura-glas there are a two possible seals that would depend on the age of the pump. You will either need to know if it is pre-1998 or 98-current, or take your pump apart and see if your seal plate has the copper or stainless steel cone or not.

The main shaft seal for the Dynamo pool pump is part number 5250-104 for the generic one or you can get the complete seal kit being the GOKIT46. You can view the parts diagram here if you would like to view the other types of main shaft seals that you can use as well.

There are no markings on the pump. It was installed with a polaris system. the motor shaft is 5/8". The motor is a centurion B668. Is it likely that this part will fit?

I have a pentair superflo pump that is not leaking externally but is not drawing enough to fill the pump cavity with water (air pocket approximately tennis ball size and bubbles coming out return jets). Could this be a seal problem?

So these seals and gaskets for the pumps are based on the model of the front pump housing that the motor bolts to. You can call in with that information or you cam email images of that housing to upload@inyopools.com so we can confirm.

Suilagi, the seal kit for your pump in a chlorine swimming pool is the GOKIT2 and for a saltwater swimming pool is the GOKIT2SALT as you have the Hayward Super 2 series model pool pump.

Hi Nicholas, for the Pentair Superflo series pool pump this is the standard shaft seal most often used with chlorine swimming pools. Also, when there is a leak on the rear side of the pump seal plate at the face of the motor that sometimes runs underneath the motor, it is often due to this seal failing.

Its installed on an arneson booster pump metal housing running a Polaris cleaner. The pump housing is for a vertical pump motor,

Hi Mike, that should all fit together just fine. Be sure that there is nothing remaining of the old shaft seal in the End Bell on your Arneson Booster Pump or stuck on the impeller.

Hello John. A shaft seal is specific to the manufacturer/model of the pump and not the motor, UST1102. The attached photo identifies the pump as a Hayward Super Pump or Hayward Super II Pump. In either circumstance, the motor shaft seal is Pump Shaft Seal 3/4" PS-201
