Currently have a SP3007X10AZ with 1HP motor, I am thinking of chaning to a 2 HP motor, would this be the correct defuser/impeller kit to do this upgrade? Also, would I still need the tune up kit or would this replace all the relevant seals?

Hi, Justin. This is not the correct upgrade kit you'll need to convert your 1hp pump to 2hp. There is not a kit available you will have to purchase the parts separately. After you verify that your system can handle the additional water flow by calculating the Feet of Head of your pool and determining the flow rate with the step provided in our How To Size an In-ground Pool Pump you'll need the following parts. The UST1202 motor, GOKIT2 tune up kit, SPX3021-B Diffuser, SPX3016-C Impeller, and the SPX3021R Impeller Ring or replace the entire pump with model number SP3015X20AZ.

Does this answer also fit the B2979 2 speed pump. The SPX3016-C Impeller says it is for a 1.5 hp, what is the correct impellerfor, the uprated hp for the B2979 is about 2.4hp.

I have a new Hayward Super II 2HP SP3015X20AZ Replacement Motor Kit (AO Smith UST1202 w/GO-KIT-2) ready to install in my 2005 Hayward Super II pump housing. The original impeller is pn SP3016-C and the original diffuser is pn SP3021-B. Is this SPX3920CKIT the correct parts for my pump? Will it increase this pump’s performance?

The impeller kits offered will depend on the specific model of the motor being used and the model of the front pump wet end housing that the motor is attached to.

I have a Hayward - Diffuser, SP3021-B and a impeller SP3021-C I replaced the motor to a 1Hp the old diffuser and impeller fit do you offer a kit like this for the 1 horsepower motor or would this one work ?
Hi Jorge, Unfortunately there is not a kit like this for the 1 HP. You will definitely need a new 1 HP Impeller here is the link to the 1 HP Super II Impeller you will need. You will also need this new 1 HP Super II Diffuser

Hello Gloria, unfortunately this impeller is no longer manufactured however you may have some luck looking for this with local pool services, or builders as they may have spare parts.
