I have a Hayward Super II 1.5HP pump that needs to be replaced. Can I upgrade to a 2 HP Hayward II single speed motor? Also, on your pricing, does this include the pump and motor?

Dan - We would not recommend upgrading to a 2HP pump unless you need additional water flow. Items that may require more flow would be water features, spa jets, and solar panels. The 2HP pump will cost more to operate. However, if you need more flow you can upgrade to the 2HP. Your filter would need to have a high enough flow rate to handle the increase in GPM. The price includes the pump and motor.

my pump has 2.4 " in and out going pipe (OD) AND IN YOUR PUMP SHOWES 2"
IS IT (OD) OR( ID)?

Hi Parviz, if you measure the outside diameter of 2" schedule 40 pipe it measures 2.375" so you would have 2" pipe on your pool and this pump would work fine.

Hi Rob, You will have to calculate the Total Feet of Head of your pool using Step 7 of our How to Size a Pool Pump for Your In-Ground Pool and then use the chart under "Product Description" figure out the GPM based on the feet of head.

Hello. I have a Hayward SP3015X20AZ pool pump. The motor broke down & I need to replace it. I can't read the motor info because it's faded. What size motor would you recommend? How much does it cost?

Hello Judy, From the model information you provided, you have a 2 HP motor. The correct replacement motor would be the A.O. Smith 2 H.P Round Flange Up Rate Replacement Motor. I would also strongly recommend replacing the seals and gaskets. You would need the Tune Up Kit Hayward Super II. Please click on the provided links for current pricing information. Thank you!

the plumbing on new pump was not the same as old pump . all new 2" PVC pipe. and unions . since I have plumbing background it was not to hard. but be careful old PVC pipe is very brittle and can crack . the new pump is very Quiet you don't know it is running.

Very easy to install. Came with three different mounting brackets and shims to help level it and reduce vibrations. This pump replaced my old 2 HP superpump and i could tell the difference in power right away. Its a very powerful pump.
