If you have a Jacuzzi Avalanche AV60 filter you can use the SLR9 1.5 HP Pump Horizontal Discharge (94022435).

This pump would be too strong for that model filter. You would need to either use a 3/4 hp model or a Sherlock 160 model to make sure flow rates are compatible.

Hi Sue I would suggest the 94027794 SLR Vertical Discharge Pump as your ABGS4F 2A4 pump is vertical discharge and not horizontal discharge.

Hello, I have a Sherlok Element Filter system manufactured by Jacuzzi, with an LR Series Pump/Strainer.. I am looking to replace the Strainer and pump assembly with the S15TLR-6-S1 2 speed, 115 volts, Amps 12.0/3.1. The pump assembly outlet must have a horizontal outlet to connect to the filter housing. I am not sure how to or who I can purchase this product through? I am having a hard time locating one online. Karen Cate 96 Clough Hill Rd Lyman, NH 03585 603-616-2538

Hi Karen, The reason you're having trouble finding that pump is because there is not one available. You will have to purchase this pump and convert it into a 2-speed pump by switching out the motor.

Hello Greig, sometimes horizontal vs vertical is all about how much space you have or where your plumbing is located, certain people just prefer vertical.

I can replace myself, but I need to make sure the mounting flange (from motor to pump) is the same. Can you lend any advice? My pump is model number is S15TLR. Thanks!

Hi, Dave. You can replace the motor yourself if you're mechanically inclined. You can use the Century BN50 Motor to replace your existing pump motor.

Hello, I just purchased a SLR9 1.5 HP Above Ground Pump Horizontal Discharge (94022435) from you. Do you know the parts that I need to purchase in order to connect it the two hoses? The old pump has a connecting piece between the filter pump and hose with an on/off valve. It looks like its attached pretty good. I'd like to purchase a new one. Also, the other opening on the filter pump appears to have a connector between the opening on the filter and where the hose attaches. Thank you!

A  Answered on 9/7/2017 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, Katie. You can use the Hose Adapter - 417-6060 for the suction side port and the Interconnect Assembly - 42363408R000 for the discharge port.

Would this pump be a good replacement for my Sta-Rite System 2 PLM 150? Do you have a pump curve for this pump?
 Reply

A  Answered on 4/24/2018 by InyoPools Product Specialist Megan C.

The SLR9 1.5 HP Above Ground Pump Horizontal Discharge - 94022435 is designed for Above Ground Pool applications that do not require the pump to self-prime. This pump is a gravity fed pump, not suction. If you are installing on above ground pool application, yes, it may be installed with your PLMSeries Cartridge Filter 150 Sq. Ft. - PLM150.

Hi Bob, I would suggest the 1 HP Jacuzzi SLR Horizontal Discharge Pump, however, this pump will be a single speed and not dual speed. We do not carry the dual speed SLR complete pump. You could just replace your motor with a 1 HP Dual Speed Replacement Motor and then use your current pump housing. If you go this route you will also need a Jacuzzi SLR Shaft Seal Kit

Hi, Paul. A 1.5 HP pump may be too large to use with a Sherlock 80 filter. I would recommend staying with the 1 hp model unless you'll be increasing the filter size also.

Hi, Mike. The horsepower rating that is on your pump is not the actual motor horsepower that's why it's followed by SPL. That means that its a special rating giving to your pump by the manufacturer. You will need the BN25 motor.

We also carry the pureline above ground pool pump model PL1502 that you can use. The connections are different and may just require standard plumbing and or fittings to above ground pool hose to work. You can also view other above ground pool pumps by clicking here.
