Think of it as if you are boiling a pot of water and think how much more efficient it is to heat that water with a lid on your pot.
A solar blanket can reduce your energy use and cost by up to 80%. This is assuming that your blanket is on your pool 16 hours a day. So please make sure your pool or hot tub is covered by a solar blanket.
