Is the salt included with the salt chlorine generator?
 Reply

No, salt is not included.  You would purchase the salt locally and the quantity will depend upon the number of gallons of water in your pool.  Use a salt that is at least 99.8% pure NaCl. The preferred salt is evaporated, granulated, food quality, and NON-iodized.  Avoid using salt with anti-caking agents like sodium ferrocyanide, also known as yellow YPS (prussiate of soda). These cause some discoloration of fittings and pool surface finishes. DO NOT use calcium chloride.

I am replacing a clormatic III cmc 700 (Jandy) Chlorinater that is 12' in total length. I don't have any additional room - what is the length of the purlink 7-blade cell kit?

Jim - The total length of the PLC700 with unions is 16-5/8". According to the PLC700 Owner's manual the the pipe cutout required is 13-7/8".

I just need the cord that plugs into the chlorinator. Is it possible to get just this part?

Hello, Thank you for your question. We do carry the cords for the AquaPure system. Please review our Jandy AquaPure Models 700 & 1400 parts page.

Hello Garvin, the cell is easy to install. Here is a link to the Jandy Aquapure Salt Water Chlorinator manual. On pages 13-14 they cover the installation of the cell.

very easy, uncouple the cell from the PVC pipes(just screw off) then take computer box front off unplug the wires from the old salt cell(old one might have green wire and a black and white one together)new one has just 2( a red and a blue one).the red goes on the "green" plug in and blue goes where the black and white ones went . close up box and the new one has a small read out screen inline with the grey wires that you put in the box.just read the direction for getting correct program (a or B) put new cell in, screw in tight (dont over do it)turn the system on and let it run a cycle .your good to go.
