I had this product installed. Is there literature available about how to set it for open and close?

Great valve - much easier to use than the ball-style valves. Just have to remember that the handle direction is opposite most other valve types: Perpendicular means on, parallel means off. It is well labeled on the valve, but who looks at labels?
