Hayward 1084 Series Pool Skimmer for Vinyl/Fiberglass In-Ground Pools
The Hayward Auto-Skim Series is molded of rugged, non-corrosive ABS and has no joint below water level. The Auto-Skim feature a cover collar allowing 1 1/2" vertical adjustment and a snap-in-weir that automatically adjusts to 4 1/2" variation in water level. An optional float/by-pass valve is available. The auto-Skim can be used in either Residential or Commercial applications. Add an optional float valve and equalizer with a NSF approved cover to any Auto-Skim with a square cover to accommodate commercial requirements.

Is sp1084 skimmer the same size as sp1075-a

Hi Willie, This skimmer can be used as a replacement for a vinyl or fiberglass surface pool, however, it will not be an exact drop in replacement.

does the sp1084 skimmer have a drain hole on the backside to release water out of the pool?

There is a 3/8"(approx) hole between the two 2" threaded openings, what is this for?

One is the main drain for the skimmer and the other is for if you want to connect a suction side cleaner into the skimmer.
