What is the difference between a niche and a light?

A niche is a housing that is permanently mounted in the pool wall, while the light is a “fixture” that is secured into the niche.

Can this niche be installed in an existing concrete pool as a replacement for a broken niche? In what manner must the existing concrete shell be cut back to permit installation of this niche?

I Had No Clue What I Was Doing

Written on 9/10/2019 by Guest

I stumbled upon Inyo by chance, but glad that I did. After purchasing several hundred dollars in incorrect parts, I called Inyo and was lead to what exactly I needed to purchase. I started building a hot tub without knowing anything about them, so it has been a rough go. Between learning about concrete, form work, electrical and ordering parts, the process has been a total learning experience. Inyo was awesome at answering my questions, but their wait time before talking to someone is horrendous.
