Please note:
When using multiple IntelliBrite LED lights, the total allowable light wattage is
300 Watts maximum. The following example combination of IntelliBrite LED
lights can be connected to the IntelliBrite Controller:
• Two (2) IntelliBrite LED pool lights (each light 70 Watt maximum)
• One (1) IntelliBrite LED spa light (40 Watt maximum)
• Eight (8) Landscape LED lights (each light 15 Watt maximum)
IMPORTANT! When installing 12 VAC IntelliBrite LED Landscape lights, connect the lights to the secondary 12 VAC output of the step-down transformer, then connect the IntelliBrite controller to the 120 VAC primary input of the step-down transformer.

The IntelliBrite Controller can control individual or multiple IntelliBrite LED lights. Multiple IntelliBrite LED lights can be connected via a junction box to an IntelliBrite Controller so that all lights can be switched on and off together. When using multiple IntelliBrite LED lights, the total allowable light wattage is 300 Watts maximum. The following example combination of IntelliBrite LED lights can be connected to the IntelliBrite Controller: Two (2) IntelliBrite LED pool lights (each light 70 Watt maximum) One (1) IntelliBrite LED spa light (70 Watt maximum) Eight (8) Landscape LED lights (each light 15 Watt maximum)

Can I install the IntelliBrite Controller using the existing flip switch wiring. and is it like changing a switch.

Hi Dean, I would check the Wiring on Page 6 of the IntelliBrite Controller's Installation Guide and if your wiring on your switch looks similar then you would be good to go.

The Pentair Intellibrite Controller is only compatible with the Pentair Intellibrite Light.

We have multiple IntelliBrite 5g Pool LED lights (#601012, 26W) and IntelliBrite 5g Pool LED lights (#640132s, 18W). Can I connect, for example, 10 #601012s and 2 #640132s to one IntelliBrite Controller? The example in the Pentair manual says #601012 (each light 50W max) and #641032 (each light 40W max), which makes me confusing.

Pros: Looks great at night, creates a great atmosphere
Cons: Had to pay an electrician to install.
Great light, easy to use. I am glad we went with the colored lights instead of the colored plaster. That way we can change the color as ofter as we like.

This controller for the lights is awesome! Instead of having to flip the switch on and off in a trigonometric pattern that you'd have to look up every time, you just spin the dial to your favorite and OUILA! It displays the pattern you were looking for!

Pros: Faster than a single on/off switch. Easy to operate.
Cons: A bit pricey. Would be even better if all switch positions were backlit; I have to shine a flashlight on it to see what position I want.
This controller sure makes it easy to explore and select all the Pentair Intellibrite 5G modes. No need to flick the On/Off switch numerous times to get the color or show you want....just turn the dial on this and you're done! Speedy service from Inyo had it at my house in just a couple of days.
