I need to replace the strainer basket for a 347947 C series pump. Is this available?

We have two basket options for the 347947 Pentair C- Series Pump CHK-150. The first is the stainless steel Pentair brand basket. The second option is a generic powder coated metal basket.

What's the difference between CMK-150 and CHK-150?

Hi Steve, The difference between the CMK-150 and the CHK-150 is that the CMK-150 is a medium head pump and the CHK-150 is a high head pump. If you use the analogy of putting your thumb over a garden hose then if you put your thumb half way over the hose this would be similar to a high head pump where you get high pressure on the output of water. A high head pump is good if you have any water features like waterfalls or jets, long runs of plumbing, or if you have to pump water up to a roof for solar. A medium head pump would be if you took your thumb off of the hose, you will get more flow but with less pressure. A medium head pump is good if you have a standard pool without the any of the features I listed for the high head pump (i.e. waterfalls, long plumbing, solar, etc..)
